Library Launches New Writing Program for Adults: Unleash Your Creativity and Share Your Story
St. Marys Community Public Library is excited to announce the launch of its new Writing Program for Adults, designed to inspire creativity, foster a love for storytelling, and provide a supportive environment for aspiring writers of all levels.
The program will kick off on Monday, January 13th, at 11:00 a.m. and is open to all adult community members, whether you're an experienced writer or a beginner with a passion for writing.
Dedicate one hour each month to your writing goals. Spend time writing or using the time to get ideas and/or advice. The Writing Program for Adults will feature workshops, writing prompts, group discussions, and mentoring with peers and library staff. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their writing skills, explore various genres, and work toward completing a writing project of their own.
“We believe that storytelling is an essential part of our community, and this program provides an opportunity for individuals to share their unique voices,” said Beth Keuneke, Programming Specialist. “Whether you're writing fiction, memoirs, poetry, or essays, we want to help nurture creativity and create a space where writers can connect, grow, and be inspired.”
“We’re thrilled to provide a platform for adults to explore their creativity and share their stories,” added Angela Karen, Technology Coordinator. “Writing can be a powerful tool for personal expression and connection, and we can’t wait to see the amazing stories that will emerge from this program.”
